How to Reach from Cochin to Thekkady.

If you are coming by road to Thekkady from Ernakulam or Fort Kochin, drive to Thalayolaparambu and pass through Kaduthuruthi. Pass on to Kuruvulangad – Pala direction. Drive straight to Ponkunna , turn to Mundakkayam as you reach Kanjirapilly and drive straight to reach Kumily. This is the most preferred and comfortable route with good roads and a nice view. You can also drive through Muvattupuzha –Thodupuzha route, reach Kanjirapilly, drive straight to Mundakayam- Kuttikanam and reach Kumily. Other than these two routes, you can also take another route. Drive through Muvattupuzha, -Vannapuram direction and reach Chelachuvadu. Go to Kattapana and drive to Anavilasam or Puliyanmala . If you drive straight from there, you reach Thekkady.
